The attendance system is developed to streamline personel check in and check out process for management record purpose. Developed using intergration with Visual Basic .NET and DigitalPersona U.are.U 4500 biometric fingerprint reader to enable identity verification of the personels.
The key objectives were to create a local database system which can verify personel identity, pop-up a notification for personels who have not yet check-in before the time specified, and generate weekly or monthly reports for their outing activities.
The Multiple Document Interfaces (MDI) is used for this project as to ease the user to open multiple windows inside the application. MDI enabled the user to quickly open personel details for reference while opening other window for fingerprint verification.
